Little Friends

Cecelia had a busy day on Sunday. We took her to church for the first time where she was the star of the show. She met so many new people and was a perfect angel - awake and content the entire time, save for a wild bout of hiccups that could be heard echoing off the church walls.

She also met her little buddy, Lucy Wynne Young. Lucy is 11 weeks old and the daughter of our good friends Tony and Annie. With so many babies born during the past few months, she has more than her fair share of little friends.

Bathtime!

We decided to try implementing a bedtime ritual with Cecelia last night. Her umbilical cord fell off early in the day so we took the opportunity to give her a real bath (she hated sponge baths). Daddy followed it up by reading her books until she fell asleep. Of course, she woke up just a few minutes later and kept us awake much of the night. Our little peanut sleeps peacefully but only when she's laying on our chests.

Thankful . . .

In the Beginning . . .

Cecelia Marie was born on November 14, 2007. This little girl has made her parents more than a little tired but happier than we ever knew possible.

CeCe was born at 7:12 p.m. and weighed 8 lb., 3.8 oz. Her length was registered at 19.5 while in the hospital but upon her first doctor visit, CeCe actually measured 20.5.
